Owlet Pros:

  • See real-time data and sleep report only on the phone
  • Receive alarms from the base station

Owlet Cons:

  • No backup memory
  • No monitor screen
  • Must use the phone to see real-time data and save history recordings
  • Must be used in the Wi-Fi environment
As for the Bluetooth connection and built-in memory, BabyO2 S2 is better than Owlet. It is not convenient to use the Owlet sock to save recordings because a Wi-Fi connection is needed if connecting the Owlet APP to view real-time readings and sleep history, which means you have to use it in a Wi-Fi environment. And even worse the Owlet sock does not have backup memory, so you have to record the data with your phone connected with the sock via Wi-Fi.

The BabyO2 S2 is more friendly to travel. Its base station is light in weight and small in size, so easy to carry. With long battery life, you do not have to worry about its charging problem. Otherwise, its built-in memory supports saving recordings without a phone, so it won’t interfere with your daily phone use. But if you want to get the oximetry analysis for your little one, you have to connect the main device with your phone and then you can review the history data and analysis.

#4 Features and usability

Owlet Smart Sock pros:

  • No monthly fee is required to access the Owlet app.
  • The same Owlet app account can be logged into on multiple devices.

Owlet Smart Sock cons:

  • Must connect Wi-Fi
  •  Phone notifications are dependent on your device’s sound settings. If you have the sound off on your phone, you will not get sound notifications from the Owlet app, only vibrations.

Summary

After comparing the BabyO2 S2 baby oxygen monitor and Owlet Smart Sock3 as above, you can find the BabyO2 S2 is more economical than Owlet. Both the baby monitors are used to track your loved little one’s vital signs of oxygen levels and pulse rates and to send audible notifications to parents so as to tell them when babies need attention. The BabyO2 S2 is more convenient to carry outside and to read real-time data because of its Bluetooth connection, built-in memory and long battery life, while the Owlet doesn’t have a monitor screen and relies on your phone use too much. But on the other hand, the APP of BabyO2 S2 is not better than Owlet APP. However, it won’t affect its main purpose to review historical data and oximetry analysis. Thus, by and large, BabyO2 S2 is more cost-effective than Owlet Smart Sock.

Wellue o2ring vs. Lookee ring

Wellue o2ring vs. Lookee ring

Are you on the search for a device that will assist you to track your oxygen degrees overnight?

Are you seeking guidance on which one out of the many options available is the best for you?

After heavily researching the best overnight pulse oximeter options to satisfy your wireless oxygen monitoring needs, I’ve located that it really comes down to two brand names: Wellue and Lookee.

To successfully carry out home overnight oximetry, I have actually figured out that a pulse oximeter that fits like a ring (like both tools evaluated below) is the most effective option. This is because they:

  • Fit conveniently
  • Stay on securely while sleeping (unlike fingertip pulse oximeters)
  • Do not have any type of electrical wiring that could be in danger of separating overnight

The Wellue O2Ring and Lookee Ring are both ring sensors overnight pulse oximeters with comparable features and price points. Consequently, to help you to make a decision which is the most effective overnight pulse oximeter for you, I’ve developed a helpful side-by-side contrast of these tools.

Fast Answer– Wellue o2ring vs. lookee ring.

Ultimately, when taking into consideration the Lookee vs Wellue O2ring oxygen monitor, I’ve identified that the Wellue O2Ring is the best-in-class choice for overnight oxygen monitoring.

The following table highlights crucial differences that show why I think the Wellue O2Ring is a much better choice for you.

Wellue O2Ring vs Lookee Ring Sleep Oxygen Monitor.

Wellue O2Ring Lookee Ring Sleep Oxygen Monitor
The design is less bulky and sleek, making it more comfortable to wear while sleeping The dimensions are slightly larger in this device
The ring portion is more sturdy and durable Some users report the ring is too thin and doesn’t seem like it will last long
Oxygen levels and heart rate are tracked more frequently (every second) Oxygen levels and heart rate are tracked every 4 seconds
The vibration alarm be used for detecting both low oxygen level and abnormal heart rate The vibration alarm can only be used for detecting low oxygen level
Analysis reports can be viewed on either a computer or a mobile app Analysis reports can only be viewed on a mobile app
Analysis reports can be printed for sharing with your physician Does not produce printable analysis reports
The device has dust and water resistance rating of IP24 Not water resistant

The Details.

My Choose: Wellue O2Ring.

The Wellue O2Ring is an amazing oxygen monitor, as first of all, it’s the ideal size and fit.

It fits comfortably over the thumb or finger, leaving the remainder of the hand free for movement.

The ring fit enables it to stay on safely throughout the evening as well as doesn’t slip off. The ring boundary is 2-3.2 inches (50-82 mm) and also gets used to fit within all finger dimensions in this variety.

This pulse oximeter accumulates an outstanding amount of data throughout one recording session, as it continually tracks oxygen levels, pulse rate, as well as motion every second.

It has an integrated memory for information collection, however, information can likewise be stored making use of the Android or iOS app or the Mac or PC software.

The app or software program offers overnight oximetry analysis as well as offers you accessibility to comprehensive evaluation reports of blood oxygen levels, heart rate, and also body movements.

It produces high-resolution pattern graphs with 4-second periods. You can likewise conveniently produce specialist PDF or CSV reports to immediately send to your doctor for more analysis.I recognize this is a great deal of talk about data, as well as you may discover it frustrating. The good news is that the records are easy to check out if you have the ideal assistance.

Now let’s get to among my favorite functions of the Wellue O2Ring. It vibrates when reduced oxygen levels or irregular heart rate is found.

The vibration attribute can be customized by the intensity of resonance, what you want it to vibrate for (ie, oxygen, heart price, or both), and also at what limit for each and every.

Moreover, an added benefit of the resonance alarm is that if you’re sharing a bed with a partner, it only wakes you up (unlike an audio alarm, which might wake up your partner).

Charging the device is very easy, as it only need a USB connection. Furthermore, the battery life of 12-16 hours is greater than adequate, as you can get about 2 evenings’ use from it before it needs a recharge.

Advantages And Disadvantages Reported by Consumers.

Pros Cons
Ring fit is comfortable, secure with no concerns for disconnecting overnight Some reported app issues
Vibrates when oxygen levels are below normal Some dislike the software
Can be set to vibrate at a customized oxygen level and vibration intensity Does not sync with Apple Health
Collects accurate readings and creates detailed analysis reports on app or computer software that can be printed and shared /

LOOKEE Ring

The Lookee Ring Sleep Oxygen Monitor is a strong contender with its patented ring sensor, silent vibration alarm, and compatible mobile app for viewing analysis reports.

The device is rectangular in shape and fits like a ring over the thumb or finger, freeing the rest of the hand. It continuously tracks oxygen saturation levels and heart rate, and records data every 4 seconds.

The Lookee Ring Sleep Oxygen Monitor has a silent vibration alarm that can be set to one of five different intensity levels to alert you when oxygen levels drop below a preset threshold limit.

You can set the threshold limit to your preferred level using the mobile app. It’s important to note that the vibration alarm cannot be used for heart rate.

Data collected by the device can be viewed in the compatible mobile app, which also generates helpful analysis reports to help you see how your oxygen levels are doing.

However, it’s not compatible with a computer and doesn’t generate printable reports to share with your doctor.

Pros and Cons Reported by Customers

Pros Cons
Ring fits comfortably and securely Some reports of the display being difficult to read
Vibrates when oxygen levels are low Some reports of ring being too thin and not durable
Can be set to vibrate at a customized oxygen level and vibration intensity Analysis reports cannot be viewed on a computer or printed
Collects accurate readings and creates detailed analysis reports on mobile app Does not vibrate when heart rate is low

Wellue o2ring vs. lookee ring Closing Points

When it comes down to it, the Lookee Ring Sleep Oxygen Monitor is lacking a few key features, making it a less appealing ring sensor pulse oximeter option compared to the Wellue O2Ring.

Given the above points and the small price difference between these pulse oximeters, I believe the Wellue O2Ring is the best choice for overnight oxygen saturation monitoring for you.

Who Needs to Monitor Oxygen Levels at Home in Daily Life

Who Needs to Monitor Oxygen Levels at Home in Daily Life

SpO2
Normally, oxygen saturation (SpO2) means how much oxygen the hemoglobin in your blood is carrying.

Normal blood oxygen saturation in a healthy person is approximately 95-100%. If oxygen levels fall below this level, lung disease may be present. A level below 92% (in the case of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease — COPD, 88%) indicates a serious condition that may require supplemental oxygen or hospital monitoring.

The higher the oxygen saturation in the blood, the better the metabolism of the body. However, it does not mean that the higher is better. Too high will cause cell aging; too low will cause insufficient oxygen supply to the body, accompanied by dizziness, sleepiness, irritability, and other symptoms.

So who will need to monitor this indicator in daily life? Should you really monitor your blood oxygen levels at home? Wellue teams have made the following summary.

1. Patients with COVID-19 including those who have confirmed or suspected COVID-19

A drop in blood oxygen saturation is one of several typical symptoms of coronavirus and a valid indication to distinguish coronavirus from the common cold. Patients with lung infections tend to have decreased blood oxygen saturation, and this also applies to COVID-19. The epidemic is still spreading but the medical system’s support has collapsed, leaving many patients in home isolation. Controlling the infection is a key to prevention and control this epidemic. The epidemic should continue to exist this year, while local outbreaks are likely to occur. Then once you find your blood oxygen saturation suddenly low in daily life, you need to pay enough attention and seek timely medical attention.

Wellue hands over its remote solution. Its Oxylink Remote Oxygen Monitor proves its value in telemedicine.

Remote management of COVID-19, see Wellue’s solution.

Oxylink remote health management of COVID 19
Oxylink™ Remote can track a wearer’s SpO2 and HR, and stream the vital signs data to his/her family members or doctors via Remote Linker, creating a reliable telemetry system.

2. Patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, respiratory disease, sleep apnea etc.

Patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and respiratory diseases, especially the elderly, are characterized by low cure rates, high incidence of complications, and high death rates. They may require long-term care and need to keep good habits to slow down the development and deterioration of the disease. Thus daily monitoring of physical signs and symptoms is particularly important.

In addition to some common self-monitoring indicators such as heart rate, blood pressure and body temperature, with more and more smart wearable devices adding the function of blood oxygen monitoring, blood oxygen monitoring has also become popular. And for patients with chronic diseases, the continuous monitoring of this indicator has become easier. Just using a pulse oximeter to take an instant check is not so helpful. Wellue creates its oxygen monitors for long-term tracking of your SpO2 and pulse rate, such as O2Ring continuous oxygen monitor, Checkme O2 Max Wrist oxygen monitor. By recording these indicators continuously, not only can you better manage your health data outside of the hospital, but you can also go to the hospital for timely follow-up examinations based on the deterioration of the indicators. At the same time, the trend changes of these data are also very important for doctors to diagnose and adjust the treatment plan.

checkme O2 Max oxygen monitor
With extra-long battery run-time of 72 hours (more than 7 full nights) per charge, Checkme™ O2 Max Wrist Oxygen Monitor may well be the ultimate solution for continuous O2 saturation monitoring during sleep. Moreover, it has alarm reminders including audio notifications on the free APP and silent vibration on the device, which means you will get an alert if the too low oxygen level is detected.

3. Exercise enthusiasts

Like chronic disease patients, it is also very necessary to monitor exercisers’ vital signs to adjust the intensity and frequency of exercise. Especially when doing high-intensity exercise, they are easy to have an insufficient oxygen supply. In serious cases, acute ischemia, cardiac arrest, and interruption of cerebral blood flow may be led, which can cause sudden cardiac death and sudden death, as evidenced by the fact that there have been a number of reports of sudden death in sports this year. So it is very important to reasonably grasp the intensity of exercise.

How to Choose the Right Oxygen Monitor for Home Use?

How to Choose the Right Oxygen Monitor for Home Use?

A pulse oximeter is commonly known as a device that can measure SpO2 (oxygen saturation of hemoglobin in a patient’s arterial blood) in a non-invasive way. Now the technological advancements have made it possible to either provide continuous monitoring or spot-checking.

Real-time monitoring of blood oxygen levels now allows clinicians and patients to actually diagnose illnesses such as hypoxemia and sleep apnea at an early stage. Thus continuous monitoring of blood oxygen saturation has become vital in personal health management as it presents an indication of whether the lungs are functioning properly.

People who want to monitor their oxygen levels at home may wonder know how to choose the right oxygen monitor. Here are some tips collected by Wellue.

How to Choose the Right Pulse Oximeter

When you are going to choose the suitable home-use continuous oxygen monitor, better to refer to choosing tips as following.

1. Certification check & Review reference

Before paying for your order, you have to remember that accuracy is the most important factor to decide whether to buy medical equipment. The best way to make sure of the accuracy before you actually use the monitor is to check for the certifications and refer to the customer reviews. Someone who has bought and used the product will have their sounds online to phrase or make complaints, which sometimes can help you judge the quality.

Some reliable certifications are provided by a few organizations, such as the FDA and CE. Those organizations will review the quality and standards to assure the accuracy of the medical device.

2. Oxygen monitor type selection

In terms of design, if you do not consider other factors, just choose your favorite type, ring, or wrist, whatever is okay. But if you want to monitor the SpO2 for the whole night, we will strongly recommend you to choose the continuous overnight oxygen monitor rather than the fingertip pulse oximeter. As you know, the fingertip pulse oximeter uses the spot-checking approaches. If you do not have the need to monitor the oxygen saturation for several hours, the cheap fingertip pulse oximeter is more suitable.

3. Price & Features comparison

The price of oxygen monitors ranges from 10USD to 200USD. The general fingertip pulse oximeter is much cheaper and you can find one in pharmacies or online stores. As for the continuous overnight oxygen monitor, the price is slightly higher, as its function is improved well.

In terms of features, you can make your decision about what you need. Some have a bright and clear display; some are water-resistant; some can achieve remote monitoring. Also remember to consider if it is light to carry, comfortable to wear, easy to use, durable and portable.

Recommending the Right Pulse Oximeter – Wellue Continuous Oxygen Monitors

Wellue o2ring pulse oximeter

Some Benefits of Wellue Continuous Overnight Blood Oxygen Saturation Monitor

Continuous oxygen monitoring is a better way to prescribe long-term oxygen therapy.

First, it can monitor one’s oxygen saturation over time, providing more utility for trends over time instead of absolute thresholds.

Second, if your oxygen levels are dangerously low or your abnormal heart rates are detected, it can alert with vibration or audio alarm on the free APP ViHealth, such as O2Ring continuous oxygen monitor and SleepU oxygen monitor, which is particularly helpful for patients with obstructive sleep apnea.

Third, using this product to monitor the blood oxygen saturation actually could offer peace of mind to people with obstructive sleep apnea, chronic respiratory or cardiovascular conditions, or people under anesthesia.

Fourth, it can also help assess the need for supplemental oxygen. For instance, when this is done overnight, a continuous measurement can be graphed and stored on your phone. The graph helps the doctor see if you have enough oxygen in your body when you sleep and ensure the amount of supplemental oxygen.

Fifth, the continuously monitored blood oxygen saturation level will indicate dangerous side effects in people taking drugs that affect breathing or oxygen saturation.

I use it every single nap time and every single night now! If he is any bit stuffy during the day we have playtime with the monitor on and we absolutely love our Wellue baby monitor! A few nights before I got my device in the mail, we had a scare where he stopped breathing again on us and now I have so much reassurance every day, and when he’s sick or having a bad day with asthma! I can have a device to alert me like I have someone helping me watch him when I ain’t able to look, I have two kids so I can’t have my eyes on him every second! There are so many sicknesses and so many babies dying that something like this is such an amazing thing to have!

Dealing with Covid but WE HAVE OUR MONITOR NOW!!!!!! Thank God!!!!

My experience: I received it and the first thing I noticed is it’s very well made, it made me feel like hospital quality equipment. I got it out of the box and put it together it was very simple to figure out and there is an app on your phone you can get and use without even having to use the Internet turned on. I’ve used a couple of devices that I borrowed from friends and so far this is my absolute favorite. This has done better than the owlet when it comes to reading oxygen and it’s something you can buy and not expect to have to buy 10 other things for it! It doesn’t need wifi, it stores your data, it’s so on point with everything, it really feels like my baby is hooked up to a hospital monitor (I showed it to my friend that works in ICU and she said it’s literally just like a hospital-grade device).

And it has alerts that go off if there is any worry with anything. And the best thing about it all is you can use this device all the way up to 3 to 4 years old and that’s pretty amazing because you can really get your money’s worth out of it! I feel like I have already got my money’s worth out of it on the first week and that’s just because it works that great!!! I know I’m gonna be using this thing for many years and I have no reason to keep searching for another device because this one does everything I was looking for it to do!

Such a relief to be able to check this any time and such great quality

And I just love how I can click the app at any time and check on my baby boy! It’s 11:35 pm and I know my baby boy is breathing just fine

I have two kids and my son is the first kid I’ve ever had to deal with that has asthma and with any sickness, everything is twice as hard!! I just know this is going to be a lot of worry-less days and nights because I have a monitor like this to tell me the accurate reading of his breathing and his heart right THAT I CAN TRUST!

Overall I would give this product 10 stars if that was such thing, the ONLY thing that I would recommend differently is that it came with like some little case to put it in, like some kind of a safe place to put it when you’re not using it but other than that this is a solid device to buy and I highly recommend. I’m a very picky mother when it comes to what my babies use and this is one that I would recommend to any mother. I’m not the type to even take the time to write a review but it took me forever to find a device that really truly worked right. Every company is only out for their money, but this company has a heart they truly care about their customers and they showed me that! The customer service was beyond amazing and I didn’t doubt once about this company. I knew I was going to get my product and they kept me updated with everything and if your gonna buy a monitor USE YOUR MONEY HERE because this is the device you will be happy to have!!!! I will definitely be coming to Getwellue, for any products that I need from here on! They are amazing and top-grade and doing amazing things and I’ve very pleased with my baby’s device!!!

He said mommy I like my new device!!!
